This is Type 1 Diabetes

What can I say? A picture is worth a thousand words. I will need to inject Insulin for the rest of my life. I don’t want to be on an Insulin Pump attached to my body. Do everything you can to avoid Diabetes and other ugly diseases.

NOT FUN INJECTING INSULINBUT NECESSARY TO KEEP ME ALIVE AND HEALTHY.

This could be you if you have the Diabetic Gene. Hopefully you were not born with a malfunctioning Pancreas. Remember: Insulin Resistance (Weight Gain) and or Type 2 Diabetes (medicines needed) will turn into Type 1 (Insulin Dependent) if you aren’t careful of what you eat and drink.

  • Basal insulin: (long lasting) main role is to regulate blood sugar/glucose in between meals and overnight it is Basil insulin is not directly intended to cover the carbohydrates or foods of any specific meal or drink. Water is the only drink that will not raise glucose.
  • Bolus insulin: (short acting aka rapid acting) Bolus insulin is taken before meals to control the rise of all foods, carbohydrates, and drinks. Injecting insulin does not prevent the rise. All foods and drink will raise glucose. Water is the ONLY drink that will not raise glucose.
  • All injected Insulin takes place of the Pancreas dispersing natural Insulin.

Not all man-made Insulin’s are the same. Pharmaceutical manufacturers make long-acting, intermediate-acting, and short-acting insulin options with different ingredients. For example one manufactures Insulin caused Edema in my lower legs. I asked my Dr. to change Insulin, then the edema stopped. If you do inject insulin, pay attention how the insulin reacts to your body. Read the inserts of prescribed Insulin and all other Medicine’s. You have the right to ask for the insert from the manufacture. This is for your information & guidance purposes only. Always discuss your health with Doctors when possible. Figure out what is best for YOU.
